East-Asia Gravitational-Wave Science Workshop

Overview
The East-Asia Gravitational-WaveScience Workshop (EAGW) is a meeting for researchers ingravitational-wave science based in the East Asian time zones. After the first event, held at Nagoya University in 2025,this second EAGW will take place at Yonsei University, Seoul, from 23 to 25November 2026, jointly hosted by Ewha Womans University and Yonsei University.
Goals
1. Bring togethermembers of the LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA (LVK) Collaboration in the East Asian timezones
2. Foster broadercollaboration in GW science, not limited to the LVK Collaboration but extendingto theory, experiment, and multi-messenger astronomy
3. Promote and supportearly-career researchers.
Scientific Program
Each day includesan 80-minute invited tutorial for students covering the fundamentals of thefield and current research, along with contributed talks (25 min talk + 5 minQ&A) and poster presentations. Posters are displayed during the workshop,and each is introduced in a 1-slide "sparkler" talk.

§ Day 3: Gravitational-wave data analysis, DavidHui (Chungnam National University)
Social/Networking Events
§ LVK networking dinner: 24 November (for LVK members)
§ Roundtable discussion: morning of 25 November (with allparticipants; early-career researcher networking and feedback on the currentand next EAGW)
§ Workshop banquet: evening of 25 November
The satellite hands-on session will be heldat Ewha Womans University from 19 to 21 November 2026.
